Titan Tire announces 2016 dates for FFA auctions and Ride ‘n’ Drives

QUINCY, IL — Titan International (“Titan”) is looking forward to hosting four Ride ‘n’ Drive events and four tire auctions this summer, with 100 percent of proceeds going to benefit regional Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapters. The events are in conjunction with regional farm shows and expos.

“In 2015 alone, we raised more than $193,000 for regional and state FFA chapters through our tire auctions at farm shows, and this year is expected to keep pace with that high momentum,” said Scott Sloan, agricultural product manager at Titan. “In addition to raising money for FFA, it also gives growers an opportunity to bid on Titan and Goodyear Farm Tires at a highly discounted price. It’s a win-win.”

Event-goers are also given the opportunity to participate in Ride ‘n’ Drive events to test out the latest technologies from Goodyear Farm Tires — including Low Sidewall Technology™ (LSW®) on a range of tractors and sprayers.
