LSW1400/30R46

World’s largest farm tire on display at NFMS 2017

Titan International (“Titan”) recently introduced the Goodyear OPTITRAC LSW1400/30R46 – the latest and largest addition to the lineup of Goodyear Extreme Flotation™ tires with Low Sidewall Technology™ (LSW®). As an alternative to tracks or conventional dual configurations on large 4WD tractors — its 1400 mm section width makes it the largest farm tire in the world, offering the best combination of flotation, traction and ride quality.

Whereas standard dual configurations commonly cause pinch row compaction and rutting between the tires, along with higher ground-bearing pressures under the tread, the Extreme Flotation design spreads across a wide, singular footprint for less soil disturbance. Outfitted with LSW technology, the Goodyear-exclusive large rim diameter improves stability, reduces power hop and road lope. The overall width of the machine is also reduced versus a standard dual configuration, which makes for easier roading and improved turn radius.

Developed to meet the growing demand for super-single flotation tires, the tire will be available by the second quarter of 2017. Visit the Titan/Goodyear Farm Tire Booth #4084 at the NFMS to see a prototype of the world’s largest farm tire.
